Hungarian noise/ambient/industrial/post-punk duo Naqoy to release full live video »Live at Hyperborea Festival« this Thursday!

Budapest, Hungary based two-piece noise/ambient/industrial/post-punk band Naqoy is gearing up to release full live video »Live at Hyperborea Festival« this Thursday, February 29th, 2024.
For the taste, you can already check out tracks »Abgehackt« and »The Cycle« from the same show.
Naqoy comments: “Last year in May (2023) we were invited to play as a special guest at Hyperborea Festival, together with such bands as Darkwood, Larrnakh Cawatana & Sturmast. The full show will be out this Thursday.
In the full show, we have already played a track from our latest release »Art Brut« but also covered songs from our first two EPs »Into The Fog« and »Four«.
»Abgehackt« and »The Cycle« are two of the songs we have played there and hopefully can be interesting to those also, who are not aware of NAQOY or don’t know our tracks.”
NAQOY’s latest album »Art Brut« was released on December 8th, 2023 via Forbidden Place Records.
»Art Brut« is the third instalment of the imagined Triptych of releases (being »Into The Fog« and »Four« the first two) and another journey of musical discoveries for NAQOY.
This is the imprint of the processing of our last years, which has been emotionally and physically highly turbulent and grueling with a lot of self doubt, discouragements, depression, burnout and forgiveness…
It is also a meditation about art and self expression and an attempt to signal consolation to some of those (not just artists), who feel they are somehow stuck outside of an establishment.

The songs are reflections of the stages of a path from being unaware and skeptical of your own abilities (»Maze«) to accepting the journey to the totality to your own self (»Leaves Always Fall In Silence«).
If you had similar experiences before, maybe you can also get attached to the songs and understand, what is behind the tracks of »Art Brut« and why we have chosen to put them in this form as you hear them…
