Based in Szeged, Hungary, The Space Huns is a stoner-blues and psychedelic rock trio known for their cosmic, jam-driven sound that fuses heavy riffs, spacey textures, and bluesy grooves. Active for several years with multiple releases, they often emphasize improvisation and instrumental psychedelia alongside vocal tracks.
In October 2025 they released their latest album »Cosmic Mountain Rush«, featuring both vocal and instrumental compositions that showcase their expansive, otherworldly style. Their work captures a jam band ethos rooted in stoner blues and space rock influences.

Says the band: The band comments: “After long years of improvisation we tried something new: added vocals and actually wrote the tracks. Okay, not all the tracks, 3 out of 5. Some freshly made, home cooked cosmic goulasch for gourmet people. It will make you rush through mountains with stone cold fire in your hearts. Hopefully.
Just Space Huns jammin’ the stoner blues on a distant ranch.”
Recorded at Gribedli Studio, Szeged.
Mixed and mastered by Csaba Szőke.
Album cover by Hubert Bíró.*

* “Hubert Bíró, our good friend and tattoo artist making tattoos in Szeged since 1994. In 2006 he was invited to work in Zurich and moved home after 6 years. During this time he participated in several foreign festivals getting numerous awards in various categories. He is still a guest artist in a studio in Germany. In addition to tattooing, he also paints and doing ceramics. We are really grateful for the cover he provided for the album.”
