Pařát Productions released CD reissues of two cult recordings of Czech death/doom history – Hypnotic Scenery and their cassette demos »Detur« (1993) and »Crystal Curtain« (1994).

»Detur & Crystal Curtain« was first released in 2016 on digipak, but it has been sold out for 7 years – hence this new edition with a modified booklet.

“It was in 2016 that I started to make myself happy by releasing recordings of my favourite bands from the 1990s. Outside of the Pařát Magazine, which featured regular albums or re-editions over the period 2009-2022. To distinguish these separate releases, I started to release digipaks, first in modest editions of 222 copies. »Detur & Crystal Curtain« was the first title of this series, and in about a year there was not a single piece left. As my friends, mostly from abroad, often asked me whether I could still find at least one more copy, even almost eight years later, I thought of reissuing this title. To avoid doing exactly the same, the musical content is identical, but this time packed a standard jewel box with a modified booklet.” — Petr Herdron / owner of Pařát Productions – April 2024
