Introducing: Alternative metal/sludge/stoner trio Anker from Belgrade, Serbia!

Anker is an alternative metal/sludge/stoner trio formed in Belgrade, Serbia in 2023 with a clear vision to offer a unique interpretation of these related genres. Their music is characterized by heavy riffs and a sturdy groove skillfully blended with melodic vocal lines delivered in polyphony.
In July 2025, Anker released the first single and music video »Tonem sam«, announcing their debut album on Geenger Records. »Tonem sam« is now available on all major digital platforms.
The song was recorded by Miloš Cvetuljac at Little Stone Studio in Šabac, while the mix and mastering were done by Stefan Gaćeša at 3×2 Studio in Pančevo. The video was shot by Damjan Jovanović and edited by Mladen Milošević.
