»Eyes Of Phthonos«, the band’s latest single, harps on the ability of human beings to manipulate and present themselves as something they aren’t. Which seems like the perfect theme for an LA-based band, doesn’t it? Saperstein states, “We all have deluded impulses-the potential for evil. But it’s about how we master those impulses so we aren’t overcome by them.” The music video for the single echoes the same theme – being haunted and oppressed by an outer evil, but one that stems from our own inner darkness. “Don’t get me wrong though,” Olivia adds. “It’s also about how the patriarchy haunts womxn to the point of insanity.”
