Introducing: Space cowboy rock duo Rival Karma from London, UK!

Rival Karma are Martin William Ross (vocals & guitar) and Piergiorgio “PJ” Ciarla (drums) – based in North London, making music that sounds like it comes from nowhere and everywhere at once.
The band name wasn’t chosen lightly. After Martin broke his spine in a boat accident and two founding members walked, what remained wasn’t a setback – it was a starting point. They launched as a duo straight into a European tour and never looked back.
Their sound sits somewhere between blues-soaked stoner rock and southern-fried riffs – raw enough to hit hard, melodic enough to stay with you. Amazing Radio called it “beautiful robotty bluesy stoner rock.” We’ll take that.
Since 2018 they’ve toured relentlessly across Europe and the US West Coast, opened for Reignwolf, and racked up 300K+ streams on debut track »Apocalypse Boogie«. Their music has been spun on BBC Introducing, landed on Apple Music New In Rock, and was hand-picked by Amazon for the Motorheads TV show.
They’ve since become repeat NAMM artists for SE Microphones, scored films nominated at Paris and Madrid festivals, and built endorsement relationships with some of the most respected names in the industry.
