From Satanath Records:
Anthems Of Isolation is an atmospheric funeral doom/drone metal project from Iraq, founded in 2012 by Karam Endzeit (vocals) and Lord Erragal (instrumentals) from bands Erragal and Amelnakru. The band started by releasing the first demo album »Once… I Lived« in August 2012 followed by a mini-album »Illusions« in June 2013, then band did not release anything new for some time until they started working on their debut full-length album »Apocalyptic Portrayals«. Instrumentals recorded in Baghdad (Iraq), vocals recorded in Istanbul (Turkey). The main lyrical themes are depression, suicide and personal experiences.
After 9 years since releasing the band’s EP, Anthems Of Isolation are back to release their biggest release yet, album is a journey through a world of dystopia, a description of apocalyptic events in order ending all we know, a deep look inside the thoughts of a solitary person with no hope in sight, expressing the chaos of the mind from his nihilistic standpoint, it’s a journey towards a dark truth… This album will take you to a void of despair, drowning in the ambience of sorrow and the distortion of chaos.
