Hailing from County Cork, Ireland’s Soothsayer have been weaving their spells of atmospheric doom and sludge metal since 2013. Over the course of two EPs, a split release, a live album and the highly regarded full-length studio album, »Echoes Of The Earth«, the band have cemented their reputation as one of the Emerald Isle’s most important underground music forces. They have performed at the UK’s Bloodstock Open Air festival and at Slovakia’s Gothoom Festival, played with the likes of Alcest and Bellwitch and had their music endorsed by guest appearances from Dave Ingram (Benediction, Bolt Thrower), Paul Catten (Medulla Nocte, Lazarus Blackstar) and Eugene Robinson (Oxbow, Buñuel). Now the band are proud to announce their signing with the hugely respected label, champions of the independent and the extraordinary, Apocalyptic Witchcraft.

Label founder Conor Droney has commented on securing the signature of Soothsayer:
“Soothayer stands among the finest acts in Ireland’s metal underground, and we’re excited to play a role in bringing them the recognition they truly deserve.”
While Soothsayer have issued the following statement regarding the new union:
“It is an honour to be working with Conor and Apocalyptic Witchcraft. We have been keen fans of this label’s output for some years and feel that the essence contained within Apocalyptic Witchcraft’s output resonates with The Soothsayer. We are looking forward to working into the future.”
