US Midwest blackened doom metal band Iron Serpent is gearing up to release their debut single »Ahriman« this Friday, February 3rd, 2023 through Kingside Records.

Back in the Spring of 2022, Steve “Reaper” Komlody had recorded tracks for what was supposed to be the 3rd album with Black Tar Superstar with guitarist Klaus Krüger. But following his departure from the band, all those tracks were scrapped.
Reaper reunited with Klaus in December of 2022 with a new vision for these songs with Klaus playing guitar and singing in which the vocals have created a much heavier, blackened style doom with a lot of sludge stamped all over it which lead to Iron Serpent being born. Reaper’s wife Mischief has stepped up to the plate to play bass for band completing the trio. This heavy sound and chaos caught the attention of Kingside Records and signed a 2 year / 2 album deal with them!
