Israeli atmospheric/meditative/spiritual stoner duo Ze Stoner stream their new EP, »Desert Buddhist«, which just dropped on December 10th, 2024.

Ze Stoner comments: “Our music tells the story of a spiritually awakened man who discovers he is trapped in the eternal wheel of Samsara – an infinite cycle of birth, death, and what lies before and after. This man embarks on a journey through the desert, seeking a path to liberation and redemption from Samsara, striving to uncover the nature of consciousness and achieve enlightenment.

On his journey, he confronts demons and forces of darkness that hold him captive, grappling with emotions, addictions, and attachments that once defined his life. Along the way, he meets a spiritual guide, forms a deep connection, and is led through the stormy ocean of Samsara toward eternal enlightenment.

We blend sacred, spiritual, and meditative music with heavy, dirty, and slow stoner sounds accompanied by thunderous drums.

Our music is designed to inspire meditation, embark on a self-discovery journey, and explore the balance between light and darkness. We aim to highlight that just as light is part of us, so is darkness – and embracing both leads to enlightenment, even in the darkest places.

Recorded at the צוללת צהובה / Yellow Submarine JLM by Dor Y. Caplan and Liav Isaac Ben Tolila (special thanks to Liav for expertly setting up the microphones, drums, and amplifiers—a true art).
