The latest signing on Noisolution: The Great Machine from Israel. The insane three from Tel Aviv are back with their fifth album and deliver a masterpiece!

The trio has put all that they have been showing on stage for ten years now into their new album. Energy, madness, joy of playing, good songs and entertainment.

There is a lot of heavy rock in it, some stoner, punk, hardcore or in the spirit of Lemmy: just rock’n’roll.

»Funrider«. The title is already sufficient in connection with the cover artwork as info. A road trip with Motörhead cassette in the player and with full throttle and a lot of fun through the Negev desert. Clichés can be boring, but some bands simply redefine their genre and bring it to the point and exactly this precision landing has succeeded The Great Machine. If you’re expecting innovation and new hyphenated rock creations, you’ll have to fire up the search engine. This album is nothing more, but also nothing less than a rock manifesto.

The trio from Tel Aviv has been active for more than ten years and now has its fifth album in the trunk. It is more versatile and colorful than before, and its songwriting and sound have been pimped from four to eight cylinders. As Haaretz Magazine put it so well “they looked like ancient warriors in the midst of the decisive battle and they also sounded like that.”

The pair of brothers Aviran and Omer Haviv and their friend and drummer Michael Izaky have been established in the scene for a long time and have a lot behind them. An outstanding live band that played support shows with Ozzy Osbourne, Fu Manchu or Patti Smith, a UK and Europe tour with All Them Witches, numerous festivals and hundreds of their own shows. But they also represent the local scene in Tel Aviv and run their own club called “Ashram” in their hometown. Their love for the rock circus seems unbroken. Still the trio is full of desire for the next club show and the three enjoy life on the road – and you can hear that on their 5th album.

Musically, the band has grown enormously. They have reduced the amount of endless jam sessions and instrumental passages in favor of clearly arranged and hard-hitting rock songs. The production is powerful, transparent and yet with enough dirt in the profile. »Funrider« impresses and surprises with catchy songs. Variety defines the album. Versatility between high speed stoner, punk, hardcore, sludgy psychedelic, heavy rock or 90s grunge rock.

Or as Lemmy used to say “we are The Great Machine and we play rock’n’roll” or something like that.
