Italian blackened doom/death metal duo Obscura Amentia working on fourth studio album

Darkness takes shape once again: blackened doom/death metal band Obscura Amentia from Apulia, Italy officially announces that they are in the thick of creating and producing their fourth studio album, years after the release of »The Art Of The Human Decadence« (Sliptrick Records, 2017).

The lineup is currently secluded in the most visceral and complex phase of the entire creative process. This new full-length chapter marks a profound expressive evolution for the project: an even deeper exploration of human ruins, inner desolation, and ancient Mediterranean cults.

“This fourth album is not merely a collection of tracks, but an authentic rite of catharsis and descent into the abyss,” states the band. “We are working on every single detail, from the weaving of the riffs to the architecture of the lyrics, to shape a body of work that reflects our purest and most uncompromising essence.”

The band reports that the production of the new record is currently progressing in full autonomy and is not yet signed to any record label.
