Ilienses Tree is a doom/death metal band formed in 2013 in Cagliari (Sardinia).

Their sound is deeply rooted in the darkest and most oppressive sides of doom and death metal, blending slow and heavy riffs, melancholic atmospheres, and a strong emotional core. The band crafts an essential and visceral musical language, where crushing heaviness supports deeply introspective lyrics.

Driven by authenticity and expressive coherence, Ilienses Tree deliver an intense, emotional, and deeply human form of doom/death metal, where silence, slowness, and sonic weight become integral parts of the narrative.

»Toward The Storm« is a dark and introspective journey into the core of human fragility. Through slow, oppressive doom/death metal atmospheres, Ilienses Tree explore themes of alienation, pain, loss of identity, and inner resistance. The lyrics portray a constant struggle against emptiness, shame, fear, and defeat, balanced by a desperate need for healing and meaning.

The storm stands as a metaphor for the unavoidable confrontation with one’s inner demons, not an escape, but a conscious choice. A bleak, emotional, and deeply human album, where suffering is transformed into voice.

Emotion plays a central role: each song becomes a personal, almost confessional reflection, suspended between despair and the need for redemption.

With the release of Toward the Storm, the band clearly defines its artistic identity.
