DHU Records is excited to announce the signing of Italian doom trio Dark Shaman to release their second full-lenght album »Occult Doom« on limited edition vinyl!!

“Dark Shaman is a stoner-doom-psych-rock trio from Sicily, Italy. A project born from the idea of Seby Carrubba (voice, guitar & songwriter), his brother Dario on bass and local friend Alberto on drums. The band starts rehearsing hours upon hours to define their sound and direction.

Influenced by Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Mephistofeles, Cream, Jimi Hendrix etc. the band starts to write & rehearse to record their first live record »Live From The Grave«. An album containing original songs plus covers by CCR & The Doors.

Dark Shaman continues to write and record to release a 4 track EP entitled »Evil Ceremony«. Recorded and mixed by Valerio Zappulla at MK studios, in Sicily and released on CD by the Mexican label Stoner Dealers Records in December 2023.

That same year Dark Shaman sign to US label Forbidden Place Records to release their first full-lenght album »Road To Hell« on vinyl in 2024.

After a short tour at several stoner doom festivals in Europe, Dark Shaman released a new EP in December 2024 called »Devil Music’s Sessions«.

The Italian trio’s love for stoner doom atmospheres drenched in dirty, fuzzy sounds & dark blues riffs employing esoteric lyrics will set the tone of what’s to become their second full-lenght album titled »Occult Doom« to be released on Limited Edition Vinyl by DHU Records in 2026.
