Italian funeral doom metal project Scent Of Darkness announces its return!

The darkness rises once again. Italian metal project Scent Of Darkness has officially announced its return, reigniting interest among fans of the extreme underground scene.

The project, led by mastermind Gianluca Moreo, revealed the news through a post on his official social media channels, confirming that Scent Of Darkness is back in action. While no further details have been disclosed yet, more updates are expected in the coming weeks.

The band’s latest release, »Insanitude« (2020), was originally issued via the Brescia-based label Masked Dead Records, showcasing the project’s intense and dark sonic identity. In 2023, the album saw a reissue through Nero Corvino, further solidifying its impact within the underground metal community.

What lies ahead remains shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain: Scent Of Darkness is ready to emerge from the shadows once again.
