Italian gothic/doom metal trio Sarvaega announces debut album »Postumo« on Black Widow Records and releases first single »Down In The Net«!

Genoa, Italy based gothic/doom metal band Sarvaega premiere the first single »Down In The Net« taken from their debut album, »Postumo«, scheduled for release on June 5th, 2026 via Black Widow Records.

Sarvaega is a gothic-doom metal trio from Genoa formed in 2025. They will release their debut album »Postumo« in physical format on June 5, 2026 via Black Widow Records. The album will be presented live at the 2nd edition of the Ars Metal Mentis Doomfest at the Crazy Bull in Genoa on the same date.

The project features the band’s mastermind Sarvaega on vocals and bass, joined by Damiano Logozzo on lead guitar and Zazza on drums and percussion. Darth Nevis on rhythm guitar and sitar, and Simone Carbone on synths, also contribute to the album. »Postumo« stems from the revival of a previous project, reworked according to the band’s new vision and enriched by current collaborations.

The album contains seven original songs and a cover of Coven’s »Black Sabbath«, and moves between gothic metal atmospheres and doom roots, with references to Type O Negative, Cathedral, Paul Chain, and Death SS. The first single is »Down In The Net«, which previews the album’s sound.
