»Where Time No Longer Waits« is a melancholic melodic death metal EP composed of four tracks that explore the irreversible flow of time and what it leaves behind. Haunting atmospheres intertwine with crushing riffs, creating a soundscape where memories fade and moments slip through our fingers. Each song captures a different stage of loss: the illusion of control, the quiet realization, the weight of regret, and ultimately, the acceptance of what can never return. It is a journey through time not as a healer, but as a silent force that moves forward – without ever looking back.
The EP was written, composed, and mixed by Giuseppe “Jeff” Froio at his Shadow Hill Studios.

The Ergot is the solo project of an independent musician who has chosen the most honest and raw path of creation: composing, recording and producing music guided solely by personal drive, without external pressure or commercial expectations.
Rooted in the haunting atmospheres of northern melodic death metal, The Ergot draws inspiration from bands like Insomnium, Swallow The Sun, and Before The Dawn. It’s a soundscape where melancholy meets power – a blend of heavy riffs, immersive melodies, and emotional depth, evoking a kind of frozen introspection.
There are no labels, no formulas. This is music born from a primal need to give shape to emotions, visions, and inner soundscapes – often dark, always sincere. It’s a personal journey fueled by instinct and experimentation, far from algorithms and marketing logic.
No strategies, no forced promotion. Just music. Raw, honest and free.
