Fossano, Italy based noise rockers Flying Disk premiere the first single »Connections« taken from their upcoming EP, »In The Heart Of The City«, set to release on October 28th, 2022 via Araki Records, Forbidden Place Records, Urgence Disk Records and Karma Conspiracy Records.

The band comments: “This song has been in the pipeline since our work »Urgency«, there was something that didn’t convince us. When Francesco joined the band in place of Luca as bass player, he pushed for arranging it, so here it is: a blend of many things we love: stoner, alternative, shoegaze, post-rock, always trying to stay true to ourselves, the personality is the most important thing for us, maybe the only one… It took us a long time, but now it has become one of our favourite tracks.”

»In The Heart Of The City« sees Flying Disk taking cues from shoegaze and post rock, in order to create cinematic landscapes which are heavy with tension, and offset by the injection of big doses of noise rock and punk.

“»In The Heart Of The City« is the summary of what we experience every day for better or for worse. This EP, consisting of 4 tracks, is the soundtrack to evenings spent outside until dawn with many thoughts and without a penny in our pocket. It is the story of those who do not go on vacation and keep wandering around their city, working for a better future. It is the result of an adolescence spent in a province that does not offer you opportunities, where the only source of hope is music, the one made by friends who, laughing and joking, still hope to make it out from there.”
