Italian occult doom/sludge metal outfit Sandstrikers stream their debut EP, »Knowledge Comes With Death’s Release«, which just dropped yesterday, December 21st, 2022.

Sandstrikers is a sludge doom band formed in 2022 in Bologna, Italy, playing slow, heavy and hypnotic moods. This is the first EP »Knowledge Comes With Death’s Release«.

The band comments: “Since ever the winter solstice has been a significant time of year in many cultures and has been marked by rituals:

“When the First Man saw that the day was continuously shortening, he said:
<Woe is me! Because I have sinned, the world darkens around me, and returns to formlessless and void. This is the death to which Heaven has sentenced me!>” 💀🤟🏼

We – as sinners and creatures of darkness – chose December 21st for the release of our EP »Knowledge Comes With Death’s Release«.”
