Italian post-metal/noise trio Buio Dentro unleashed their debut album »Aurorea«; out now on CD and digital via Mothership Records!

Perugia, Italy based post-metal/noise trio Buio Dentro presents their debut album, »Aurorea«, which was just released on May 8th, 2026 via Mothership Records.

Formed in Umbria in late 2023, Buio Dentro brings together Andrea Gentili (drums) and Federico Mazzoli (bass), both members of Northwoods, a post-hardcore band from Perugia, alongside guitarist Federico Santi.

Their debut album »Aurorea« (Mothership Records) unfolds across four extended tracks conceived as a single continuous piece. Drawing on reference points including Sumac, Swans, and Zu, the band describes their aim as making music that is “stomach, dust, blood and tears – application, delirium, memory and oblivion.”

The album was recorded in autumn/winter 2025 between Rome and Perugia by Buio Dentro and Lorenzo Amato. Mastering by Valerio Fisik at Hombrelobo Studio.
