VISCERA/// are back with »Autoberserk«, the new single taken from their forthcoming album »4. Assets For Psychedelic Warfare«, set for release on July 24, 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

With »Autoberserk«, the Italian experimental metal outfit offers another glimpse into the new direction explored on the upcoming record. While maintaining the tension and unpredictability that have always defined their sound, the track introduces new shades to the band’s sonic palette, moving through more spacious and melodic territories without ever becoming fully linear or predictable.

The new album »4. Assets For Psychedelic Warfare« reveals a different balance between intensity and atmosphere, where wider arrangements and more open passages coexist with a constant sense of unease. Beneath the melodic elements, a veil of melancholy – and at times a subtle feeling of threat – continues to emerge from the shadows, reinforcing the band’s ability to create music that feels both immersive and unstable.

The band commented on the single:

“»Autoberserk« is an uptempo, vibrant lowlife anthem where arena-rock energy collides with our typical dark and hallucinatory vision. Wicked melodies, obscure thoughts and psychedelic tension intertwine in a track that feels both euphoric and deeply unsettling – a call to dance and grieve at the same time.”

Marking the band’s return with a full-length record after nine years since the previous album, »4. Assets For Psychedelic Warfare« comes as the result of a long and meticulous songwriting process, shaped by an adventurous approach that pushed the band’s sonic identity into new and unexpected territories. The album expands the group’s already well-established extreme music foundations – where the glacial heaviness of Godflesh often meets the raw urgency of black metal and grindcore – by introducing a stronger presence of psychedelic textures and dark wave influences, further emphasized through a more prominent and deliberate use of clean vocals. The result is a sound that feels at once hallucinatory, melancholic and deeply unsettling.

With »4. Assets For Psychedelic Warfare«, Viscera/// bring their psychedelic and gloomy aura to its most extreme expression to date, while remaining firmly anchored in their trademark aesthetic. The record embodies and renews the principles that have defined the band across 26 years of activity: nonconformity, rawness and melancholia.

For those in search of something genuinely fresh and forward-thinking, Viscera/// deliver a compelling answer.
