Listen to »Voices Fade Away« HERE.
There is a particular kind of heaviness that does not rely on sheer volume, but on the slow erosion of everything that once felt solid. With »Voices Fade Away«, Rise Above Dead explore this darker dimension, shaping a track where oppressive atmospheres, brooding dynamics and emotional disquiet converge into a deeply immersive listening experience.
Moving through the band’s unmistakable post metal territory, the song balances crushing sonic weight with a haunting sense of vulnerability. Its title evokes the gradual disappearance of voices, memories and certainties, while the music unfolds with an intensity that feels both restrained and overwhelming.
»Voices Fade Away« offers another glimpse into »Voidmass«, an album that sees Rise Above Dead pushing their sound towards a more vocal driven and emotionally charged direction, without abandoning the expansive textures and crushing dynamics that have defined their work.
Featuring six tracks, »Voidmass« moves between atmospheric sludge, dissonant heaviness and dark cinematic soundscapes, capturing a band embracing a renewed creative energy while remaining firmly rooted in the underground.
Out November 27, 2026 via Argonauta Records on CD and digital.
