Italian post-rock visionaries Repetita Iuvant announce new full-length album; coming early 2026 via Argonauta Records!

Argonauta Records is proud to announce that Italian instrumental explorers Repetita Iuvant have completed work on their brand new full-length album, set for release in the early months of 2026. The record will be available in deluxe vinyl edition and digital format, marking a significant new chapter in the band’s ever evolving artistic journey.

Formed in 2006, Repetita Iuvant initially took shape as a classic guitar, bass and drums trio, performing extensively across Tuscany and Liguria until 2013. After a few years of silence, the band reunited in 2018 with a renewed lineup of two guitars and drums, immediately diving back into writing and recording. Between 2019 and 2022 they released »3«, »3+1« and »7«, together forming a conceptual trilogy built upon a mathematical approach to composition.

Their music blends post rock, no wave psychedelia and freeform improvisation, pushing beyond established boundaries. The band describes themselves as post postists, guided by the belief that “no class of prejudices or civic, historical or academic considerations can inhibit the impulse of imagination.”

In 2024, Repetita Iuvant unveiled »√2«, the first chapter of a new trilogy and the natural continuation of the mathematical equation begun with 3. The EP further expanded their sonic vocabulary and reaffirmed their place among forward-thinking instrumental creators.

Now, with their upcoming full-length, the trio consisting of Cristoforo Da Costa (guitars, synth), Daniele Isetta (guitars, synth) and Andrea Testa (drums) are ready to enter a new phase. The album promises to elevate their signature mixture of hypnotic repetition, angular experimentation and imaginative freedom, offering listeners another deep dive into their unique and uncompromising vision.
