Italian progressive/sludge/death metal duo Sludge Keeper releases »Demo 2025« as they prepare material for upcoming full-length album!

Treviso, Italy based progressive/sludge/death metal studio project Sludge Keeper stream new demo, entitled »Demo 2025«, which was just released on March 7th, 2025.

Sludge Keeper was formed in 2020 in Northeastern Italy by Andrea Tocchetto (Inverted Matter). Their debut album, »Slough Of Despair« (Selfmadegod Records), received positive reviews for its dark and intense sound. In 2024, drummer Federico De Bernardi Di Valserra (xInstinctiveX, BRRWS, Viscera///, Reaping Flesh) joined, adding new dynamics to the group.

Their latest demo, »Demo 2025«, is now available digitally via Bandcamp. Andrea Tocchetto (guitars, bass, vocals) and Federico De Bernardi Di Valserra (drums) have crafted a sound blending prog, sludge, and death metal, marking a notable shift from their previous work.

The demo was recorded at Badrum Studio (Asolo, Italy) by Marco Dussin and Jason Nealy, with drums captured at SPVN Studio (Milan, Italy) by Stefano Santi. Mixing and mastering were handled by Andrea Tocchetto at Skunkworks Studios (Maser, Italy).

The band is currently working on their next full-length release.
