Italian psychedelic rockers Ananda Mida share a live video for the track »The Pilot«. This is the version featured on their 2021’s EP »Karnak«. The work pays homage to the bat-winged spaceship created by Eeviac. The song is a good example of the band’s musical style and the personal mythology they refer to.

Two years after the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album »Cathodnatius«, June 25 2021 saw the release of »Karnak«, the latest EP by psych rockers Ananda Mida. An EP packed with three magical tracks, a release that bears witness to the unfettered and spiced up attitude of improvisations, that has constantly distinguished the band’s live activity. In support of their latest release, the band has shared a brand new live video for the track »The Pilot«.

Ananda Mida says: “»The Pilot« is a song we always enjoy playing! The opening theme comes from the sounds of hospital machinery, then we added our own groove and there you go! We are very happy with the result because this performance reflects a clean edge that is not always part of our live experience.”

Ananda Mida is stoner rock and psychedelia collective, leaded by Max Ear, drummer of OJM and co-founder of Go Down Records, and Matteo Pablo Scolaro, underground guitarist and curator of Go Down Bands on Tour, with the help of Eeviac artworks. Since 2015, they have been playing, with different line-ups, from three up to six members, a seventies sound mixed with desert and psychedelia grooves.
