Prometheus is a three-piece stoner metal band from Treviso, Italy. Monolithic guitars, epic yet harrowing vocals, and incisive drumming make the sound of Prometheus a claustrophobic descent into the abysses of our time and our very existence.

Prometheus emerged in 2025, marking the return to the electric guitar for Luca Gazzi – a figure already active in the independent scene of the early 2000s (Thy Sin, Corpus Engraved, Darklight). He was soon joined by another veteran musician and composer from the Veneto scene, Fabio “Black” Gatto (And Harmony Dies, Pesten), on bass and vocals. After a few months of lineup shifts, the group was completed by the addition of Roberts Colbertaldo (Glincolti) on drums.

The demo released in 2026 captures the essence of the project: an organic, lived-in body of work, brought into being by inescapable necessity.
