Italian stoner/groove metal band Sexperience share a brand new music video for »Stand Still« from their latest EP »Sexp’Anger«!

Cremona, Italy based stoner/groove metal band Sexperience has released a brand new music video for the track »Stand Still« from their latest EP, »Sexp’Anger«, out in May 2022.

The band comments: “We have chosen to represent the reality of our songwriting process honestly, without emphasizing tough attitudes or trying to appear at all costs. We already see too many people acting like stars without deserving it. Instead, here we are – from a blank sheet of paper to the stage – often goofing around with irony, not always in agreement, deleting and starting over. We have preferred to focus on showing our genuine dedication to the process.”

Sexperience is an alternative/groove metal band from Cremona, nothern Italy, that was born in 2009, initially playing covers (rock and metal) to find the right feeling and participate in live activities in the area, then began to write original songs in English with a heavy and alternative imprint in 2011 with the release of the first self-produced single and video »Headless« in 2014. The project begins to take better shape in 2016 with the release of the first EP »Showdown«, recorded at Insomnia Studios in Reggio Emilia, the band’s first studio effort (which sees the addition of a fifth band member on guitar).

After a three-year period of live performances and writing new songs, the band decided in late 2018 to record the new EP »Sexp’Anger«, recorded and mixed by Marco Benedetto of Fidenza’s Noisy Studio, and released – due to jinxes, pandemics and a variety of hexes – finally in 2022, 100% self-produced and self-distributed.

Distributed digitally on major streaming and music download platforms as early as May 21, 2022, Sexperience’s new EP »Sexp’Anger« makes the title of Metallica’s former album its own (simultaneously in homage and mockery). The record features an edgier, more mature and evolving sound and songwriting compared to the previous »Showdown«, while retaining the groove and stoner influences that distinguish the project.

Once again Sexperience demonstrate his DIY spirit by offering totally self-produced original material, believing strongly in their independent character.
