Seek released their debut album »Kokyou De Shinu Otoko« (“The Man Dies In His Hometown”) via Silent Pendulum Records on June 23, 2023. The album is the band’s first full-length despite Seek forming more than 20 years ago.
Seek’s sound is a dark, raw affair with great emotional depth, recommended for fans of everything from Neurosis’ tormented post-metal to Acme’s hellish hardcore, and of newer bands like Hexis and Downfall Of Gaia.
Silent Pendulum founder Michael Kadnar (also drummer for Downfall Of Gaia) states: “I had the pleasure of playing with Seek in Japan the last time I toured there. I was honestly blown away by their music. Fast forward a few years, I asked them if they need help with their new album. I’m very excited to give them a U.S. platform and to share the stage with them again this July.”
Order »Kokyou De Shinu Otoko« on vinyl (silentpendulumrecords.com) or CD (deliverbrecords.stores.jp).
