Tokyo’s Heaven In Her Arms are returning with their highly anticipated new album, »The End Of Purification«, out November 13, 2026 via Banshies.

For nearly two decades, the band have been one of the defining forces in Japan’s underground heavy-music scene, developing a singular sound somewhere between post-hardcore, screamo, post-metal and atmospheric heavy music. Built around the volatile interplay of three guitars, their music moves effortlessly from crushing intensity and cinematic tension to moments of fragile, disarming beauty.

Following their critically acclaimed third album »White Halo« (2017) which earned international acclaim including a 7.7 rating from Pitchfork. Heaven In Her Arms return with their most expansive and emotionally powerful record yet.

»The End Of Purification« explores loss, memory, grief and transcendence, with recurring imagery of the moon, light, decay and absence. Dark, intense and deeply atmospheric, the album expands the band’s songwriting while retaining everything that has made their sound so distinctive.

The record features collaborations with PG2 (ENSLAVE) on »Dawn Yarn« and Netako Nekota (JYOCHO / heliotrope) on »Spilt Prayers«.

After nearly two decades, extensive touring across Europe and Asia, and a celebrated return to the international stage at Roadburn Festival, Heaven In Her Arms are entering their next chapter.

»The End Of Purification« out November 13, 2026 via Banshies.
