Latvian psychedelic stoner/doom/post-metal band Zintnieks stream their second full-length album, »Ilgas pēc vasaras rītiem«, which was just released on February 20th, 2026.

Says the band: “Zintnieks’ second studio album »Ilgas pēc vasaras rītiem« is here! Listen to the album on our Bandcamp and soon on the most popular streaming platforms.

This time we have taken a step away from psychedelia, diving into a purer, monumental doom sound. Slow, heavy riffs intertwine with a deep longing motif and open the door to a gloomy light.

The mood of the album is emotionally saturated and at the same time mystical. We turn to mythical contemplations, mysticism and legends, searching for answers in the processes of nature and the fragile border between memories and reality. It is a hypnotic message, in which heavy sound structures merge with a feeling of immortal longing.
