Hecotonchir is a death/doom metal solo project from Christchurch, New Zealand. Founded by Kris Stanley (Salient, Stone Angels, Torturor, Veneficium, Inverloch).

After a series of EPs »Venerations Of Vexation I-III« in 2023, Hecotonchir released debut album »Vexation« in November 2025.
