Quebec, Canada based instrumental stoner/doom metal trio Subir has released their latest EP »Metal Mou II« on January 24th, 2025 via D7i Records.

Subir is an instrumental stoner/doom metal trio based in Boischatel, a suburb of Quebec City, Canada. Their riffs reek of weed and you’re going to suffer them!

Subir was born in the summer of 2021. Dieter and Chris started the project. They had already played together in the band À l’Ombre d’Héméra. It was in a kebab shop in Limoilou that Dieter asked Chris if he wanted to start a new stoner/doom project with him. They started looking for a guitarist, tried out two or three, and Olivier stayed. On September 13, 2023, Subir released their first single: »Patow«.
