Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based instrumental doom/stoner metal outfit Stone The Wizard has released their first full-length album »Happy Hour« on November 4th, 2022 via Dream Indie Records.

Stone the Wizard is a young rock band from Pittsburgh, PA. They consist of rhythm guitarist Sal Banks, drummer/producer Jim Hails, lead guitarist Nate Scott, and bassist Ryan Scott. They explore a variety of genres, including metal, progressive rock, jazz, folk, blues, and funk.​The band formed in 2020, in the beginning of the pandemic. They would perform long and improvised jams in their garage, which would contain pieces of some of their first songs ever written. They started recording in the studio and eventually released their first project »Stone The Wizard« EP. After playing a few shows and working with three different singers, they decided to stick to their “jam band” roots and work on instrumental projects. ​

Their first full-length instrumental album »Happy Hour« will be released on November 4th, 2022. It is a heavier album, influenced by thrash, sludge, and power metal. The band is currently working on psychedelic and funk music for their next projects.
