Lithuanian chaotic post-metal force Aortes unveils their highly anticipated new album, »Carrion« a bold step forward in the band’s sonic evolution. The record weaves together eerie ambient textures, thunderous doom-infused riffs, ferocious blackened hardcore intensity, and the restless unpredictability of post-metal, solidifying Aortes place at the forefront of the genre’s experimental edge.

With seven tracks, »Carrion« takes listeners on a dynamic sonic journey, weaving through atmospheric soundscapes, crushingly slow heaviness, and bursts of searing aggression. The album highlights Aortes signature talent for blending raw emotion with complex arrangements, creating an immersive experience for fans of experimental and extreme post-metal.

The album also includes a special collaboration – title track »Carrion« features members of the Vilnius based experimental band PLIÉ, adding a unique dimension to Aortes’ already expansive sound. Mind-bending saxophone composition and haunting Twin Peaks-esque spoken vocals performed by Matas and Nedas from Plié is an unexpected twist in this gargantuan 10 minute opus.

Album has been released as a 200 copies limited edition 180g yellow vinyl.
