Vilnius, Lithuania based stoner/doom metal outfit Black Citrus has unveiled new single and visualiser video »Shadow Of Your Light« taken from their upcoming debut album, »Glass Mountain«, set to release on September 13th, 2024.

The band comments: “We released the third and final single before the full album drops on September 13th.
»Shadow Of Your Light« represents another side of Black Citrus. It’s more a goth rock song than a metal song. It speaks about death of a loved one and the last moments we spend with them. A sensitive track, but catchy nonetheless. We hope it catches you as well! Happy listening!”

Black Citrus is a stoner doom/dark rock trio that melds heavy psychedelic sounds with raw sludgy tones. Formed in Vilnius, Lithuania, the band has had a few line-up changes until it’s present form stabilized in 2020. Eventhough they come from the stoner/doom scene, the band is constantly evolving their sound and experimenting with different elements of music to create their own signature tone. Their compositions unfold as journeys, running the gamut of styles from the 90’s to the present.

On July 2nd 2021 Black Citrus released their first self-titled EP. The first full-length album »Glass Mountain« is to be released on September 13th, 2024!

Says the band: “It is with great pride that we present to you the details of our 1st full-length studio album »Glass Mountain«, to be released on Friday the 13th, September 2024! The album contains 8 tracks, the first of which, also titled »Glass Mountain« we’ll unveil to you next Friday.

The album was self-produced and self-recorded in our rehearsal room. Mixed by our dear friend Paulius Simanavičius (Juodvarnis) and mastered by the talented Sebastian Has (Behemoth, Obscure Sphinx, Necromantia). It is a collection of emotions that we’ve endured the last three years: loss of loved ones (»Shadow Of Your Light«), loss of self (»Crowded Sky«), creative block (»7th Song«), anger (»Spit On A Shore«) and so on. It took us longer than expected to finish it, but we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out and we can’t wait for you to hear it!

The visionary cover art is done by Simonas Viskontas, who did both the album art and the art for the singles. We are so happy we got to work with you, Simonas!”
