»Darkstar«, the fourth studio album by Lode Star, is here.

A journey through darkness, emotion, and everything in between. Blending powerful female vocals, heavy guitars, atmospheric soundscapes, and haunting melodies, »Darkstar« marks a new chapter for Lode Star. Building on the foundations of their previous releases, the duo have refined their sound, drawing inspiration from the riffs, intensity, and melodic hooks of 2000s nu metal and alternative metal while bringing those influences into a modern production.

Fronted by Kate Glock, the album also sees Kate expand her vocal range with the introduction of harsh vocals alongside her signature soaring melodies. Tracks such as »This Is Not The End«, »The Great Beyond«, »Dark Design«, and »Fall From Grace« showcase this new dimension, adding another layer of intensity and emotion to the band’s sound.

For guitarist and songwriter Jensen Rodolfo, »Darkstar« represents a shift in his approach to writing. He focused on crafting more creative riffs, dynamic arrangements, and songs that evolve through contrasting sections and shifting intensity. The result is a more riff-driven and dynamic collection of songs that retains the atmosphere and emotional depth at the heart of Lode Star’s music.

Drawing from the melodic foundations of alternative metal and the heavier edge of 2000s nu metal, Lode Star remain focused on what matters most to them: memorable riffs, powerful vocal hooks, and music that creates a genuine emotional connection.

With »Darkstar«, the band take a confident step forward, further defining their identity while opening the door to new creative possibilities. It’s not just a continuation of what came before, but the beginning of a new path for the duo and a glimpse of what’s still to come.
