Potenza, Italy based blackened death/doom/gothic metal act Ecnephias return with their new full-length album, »Liturgia Della Notte«, scheduled for release on December 11th, 2026 via My Kingdom Music.

Six years after their last release, Ecnephias once again blend their blackened death metal with influences ranging from English-style gothic doom to dark rock enriched by a great Mediterranean theatricality. With this new record – sung entirely in Italian for the first time – the band explores even darker, deeper, and more introspective sounds, while firmly maintaining a lyrical identity rooted in occultism, decadent poetry, folklore, and inner torment.

The eight tracks will transport you into a gothic, extreme, and dark universe that remains fiercely and inextricably bound to their homeland: the South.
