The creative force behind Black Glow is led by Gina Ríos, formerly known as the enigmatic vocalist and guitarist of the stoner/psychedelic rock band Spacegoat. Embarking on a new journey alongside drummer Octavio Diliegros, and hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, Ríos has evolved her vision into a cosmic blend of doom grooves and atmospheric textures. Together, they craft a hauntingly beautiful soundscape that invites listeners to explore the depths of their inner cosmos.

The band’s debut EP, »Black Glow«, is conceived as more than just a collection of songs; it is often described as a sanctuary for the soul. The project is considered an accompaniment for moments of deep introspection, providing a sonic space where listeners can navigate their own shadows. Through this cosmic voyage, the music seeks to offer a sense of solace and a profound connection to the human experience, suggesting that even in our most intimate moments of solitude, there is a shared resonance that reminds us we are not alone.

Three years after their self-titled debut EP, Black Glow returns with their first full-length album, »Waves And Mirrors – Mirrors And Waves«. This release marks a significant evolution in the band’s sound, expanding their psych and doom foundations into more atmospheric and expansive territories.

The album features special guest Christian Peters (Fuzz Sagrado, founder of Samsara Blues Experiment), who contributes lead guitars and synthesizers on select tracks, adding a layer of cosmic depth to the recording.
