Santo Fuzz is an occult stoner doom band from Silao de la Victoria/Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Mexican legends, classic horror films, grandparents’ stories, mystical and esoteric thought, religious syncretism, and occultism.
This group has been featured at events such as the Aurora Horror Festival and has also been mentioned in Doom Charts, Doomed and Stoned Latin America, and other publications.
With two full-length albums, one EP, and three singles, the band is currently recording their third release, built on a solid foundation of doom metal, stoner psychedelia, and the influence of musical genres nearly extinct in Mexico, as a form of cultural revival and an excellent counterpoint to the proposed theme.
About »Sabbat a la Mexicana«:
A mystical, esoteric gathering, mountain rites brought to the ears of those who dare to share the ceremony with us. Psychedelic prayers to the patron saint of bad trips, Saint Fuzz.
After a few months since the release of »Rituales macabros con peyote«, here is the continuation of that mysticism, with a review of various manifestations of spirituality experienced in Mexico through its different expressions.
