El Ermitaño is a progressive post-metal band from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Formed in 2020 but releasing their first material in 2023.
El Ermitaño leads you through deep and powerful soundscapes. They fuse dense riffs with progressive and dark rhythms, creating an intense and emotional atmosphere. Their music invites you to immerse yourself in introspection and explore the deepest and most distant abysses of your existence. In the midst of loneliness and pain, they unleash aggressive and powerful screams. With influences from The Ocean Collective, Isis, and Russian Circles, El Ermitaño forges a unique sonic journey, immersing listeners in a captivating storm of sound that triggers catharsis and awakens your being.
