Valle Hermoso, Mexico based stoner/doom metal band King In Yellow presents their new live album, entitled »Live Bootleg«, which was released on May 21st, 2026 via LSDR Records.

King In Yellow is a stoner/doom metal band from the city of Valle Hermoso in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Founded in 2020, the band consists of Abel Nodoyuna (guitars, vocals), Iván González (guitars), Chris De Leon (bass), and Daniel Garcia (drums).

Drawing heavily from H.P. Lovecraft’s cosmic mythos and the Cthulhu universe, their signature heavy, fuzzy riffs explore themes of the occult, murder, and horror films.

The band plays a blend of doomy stoner rock and heavy psych, characterized by crunchy guitar tones, swinging swagger reminiscent of bands like Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats, Green Lung, Blood Ceremony or early Kadavar.

They released their self-titled debut EP in November 2023. The 5-track release, featuring tracks like »Burial Song« and »Daughter Of Darkness«, established them in the Latin American and international doom scenes.

Known for their energetic and engaging live shows, King In Yellow has performed at prominent heavy music events in Mexico, including playing at the first Ripplefest Mexico.
