Mexican stoner/doom metal outfit King In Yellow premiere new single »Vampire Sound Inc.«

Valle Hermoso, Mexico based stoner/doom metal outfit King In Yellow premiere a brand new single »Vampire Sound Inc.«, released on October 11th, 2026.

»Vampire Sound Inc.« is available now on Bandcamp!

King In Yellow is a Mexican stoner/doom metal band from Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas. Taking their name and aesthetic from the classic 1895 cosmic horror book »The King In Yellow« by Robert W. Chambers, the group blends heavy, down-tuned riffs with thematic elements of the occult, murder, and horror cinema.

Formed in 2020, the band emerged from the underground heavy music scene of northern Mexico, capturing a gritty, localized sound heavily influenced by iconic doom/acid rock acts like Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats. They utilize fuzzy, distorted basslines, slow-tempo crushing beats, and psychedelic guitar solos to create an eerie, atmospheric wall of sound.

King In Yellow is:
Abel Nodoyuna – Guitars, Vocals
Iván González – Guitars
Chris De Leon – Bass
Daniel Garcia – Drums
