US blackened sludge/stoner metal act Mothman And The Thunderbirds and Canadian one-man death metal band World Eaters have announced split EP which will be released on October 28th, 2022.

Prepare for mayhem this Halloween, as Mothman And The Thunderbirds and World Eaters go head-to-head on a new split EP. The showdown is scheduled for October 28th, 2022 – let’s meet our mighty challengers:

Mothman And The Thunderbirds soar to new heights here with both their most infectious song (»Rusty Shackleford«) and heaviest song (»Nephilim«) to date. On both songs the band exhibits a flight pattern that hits all sorts of weird and wonderful metal subgenres. Armed with the production talents of Egor Lappo, the band sounds bigger and better than ever.

World Eaters welcomes Winter Stomp to the war front bringing live drums to their music for the first time ever. Side B opener »Flash of Green« showcases her blasting prowess and is followed swiftly by »The Siege« which contains some of the band’s most bludgeoning riffs yet. As with every release there’s collaboration and this time it takes on a new form with crowdsourced gang vocals from Twitter’s thriving metal scene.
