About »The Boom Shiva EP«:
This is 24+ minutes of brand new music featuring the kraut-catchy »Get Out (Of My Grave)«, the hard hitting psych-religious »Boom Shiva«, the 11 minutes experimental ritualistic »Bönpo Chöd« and last but not least »Mary Shelley Of The Ganga« – the found recordings from a mysterious Danish artist in Kathmandu 1966.

The front cover has been created by artist Torbjörn “Toby” Jörgensen of Studio Dzyan (Mercyful Fate and King Diamond).

About Nepal Death:
Imagine Charles Manson and Anton LaVey teaming up with a band of fake Hare Krishna cult members speeding towards Kathmandu in a run down VW bus along the dusty Hippie Trail in 1966. That may give you the idea what this Swedish music collective is all about. This is Eastern tinged heavy psychedelic rock with angst ridden vocals on a wall of fuzz guitars, heavy bass and ritualistic drums backed up by chants, bells and flutes, backward sounds and tanpura drones.

Nepal Death’s style draws from bands such as Hawkwind, Blue Öyster Cult, Amon Düül II and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Occult references mixed with hippie mysticism are also prominent in the band’s lyrics and aesthetics.
