New York grunge/sludge/stoner rock trio Goodnight Sky presents their new album, »Magnum Opiate«, which was just released independently on May 27th, 2026.

Goodnight Sky is a grunge-sludge-stoner rock trio based in New York City. Known for their blend of 90s alternative rock, heavy fuzz, and atmospheric psychedelic synths, they are a prominent staple in the local underground heavy music scene.

The band was formed by guitarist and vocalist Ted Levin after he relocated to New York and began rebuilding his musical career from the ground up.

Goodnight Sky broke onto the scene with their debut full-length album, »Oceania«, released in March 2024. The record established their signature heavy, garage-toned soundscape and spawned singles like »Off Kilter« and »They Crave«.

In May 2026, Goodnight Sky expanded their discography with their second release »Magnum Opiate«, which was previously announced with the advance singles »Shiva« and »Sex Marks The Spot«.

The trio is highly active in the local rock circuit, frequently playing at established music venues. They often share bills with other notable NYC-based rock and metal acts, bringing a raw, energetic stage presence to the audience.
