With the release of the »Origin« album, Indus Valley Kings takes a fresh approach to a fuzztone alternative rock style. Laced with addictive melodies, massive guitar sounds, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of grunge and desert rock anthems.

The first single »…And The Dead Shall Rise« is a tasteful and infectious song built with dark blues rock tones that lets the song show an edgy but catchy style.

“We have really jelled as a band since our initial release; Jonathan had only been in the band a short while when we recorded our debut »Indus Valley Kings« (2021). The songwriting has become more ambitious, and we knew exactly what we wanted when we entered the studio to record »Origin«. Additionally, our vocal harmonies have really developed. We don’t adhere to any formula or trends, and we all contribute to the songwriting process. Additionally, many of the songs on »Origin« grew out of jams during rehearsal,” explains the band of their evolution in releasing music.

The Indus Valley Kings sound has been compared to the thunder of the mammoth, the roar of the sabretooth, and the din of the auroch, as well as Kyuss, Corrosion Of Conformity, Helmet, and ‘70s era Black Sabbath.
