»Captured Live! Vol 1« is the latest release from Sonic Taboo – a raw, high-voltage document of a band firing on all cylinders. Recorded live at Harasser Studios in New York City. This album captures the band’s new formation at its tightest and fiercest, led by powerhouse drummer Dylan Lappin, whose arrival brings a new level of urgency and drive to the group’s sound.
The record features 12 tracks in total – 4 brand-new songs and 6 reimagined cuts from previous releases, all performed live with no overdubs. It’s an honest, unfiltered portrayal of the band in their element: loud, relentless. And rooted in the core values of rock & roll. There’s no studio gloss hare – just energy, chemistry, and the grit of real-time performance.
»Captured Live! Vol 1« was mixed and mastered by Robin Buyer, whose sharp ear and analog sensibility helped shape the recordings into something that feels both immediate and timeless. The album will be released on vinyl and CD through Interstellar Smoke Records, continuing the band’s commitment to physical formats and sonic integrity.
