In the howling depths of the Antipodean musical abyss, there emerged a thunderous entity known only as King Cruel – a psychedelic doom metal band born from the depths of a hallucinogenic inferno.

Founded in 2023, King Cruel reunites three seasoned musicians and producers for a whole new kind of alchemy. Inspired by the gothic leanings of Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, the fuzzed-out brutalism of stoner rock, and the anarchic punch of »PetroDragonic Apocalypse« era King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the trio from Auckland, New Zealand bring a range of musical influences from their previous musical lives to a simmering sonic cauldron.
