North Wilkesboro, North Carolina based doom/stoner rock duo Sixyearhex has announced their new single »Original Sin«, which will see the light on March 10th, 2026.
Until then, you can listen to Sixyearhex’s cover of the quintessential Weedeater classic »God Luck And Good Speed«.
The band commented: “We put up some microphones in the band room and just went for it; I double tracked the vocals and what you hear is what you get. Rough around the edges and sonically raw, just as the lord intended. Commune with us and worship these almighty riffs. Amen.”
North Carolina doom ‘n’ roll duo Sixyearhex will release their new single »Original Sin« on all major streaming platforms March 10, 2026.
Known for blending sludgy stoner-doom riffs with soaring rock melodies, the band continues to carve out their signature heavy yet hypnotic sound. Sixyearhex has been steadily gaining ground with their fusion of dark alternative rock, post-grunge atmosphere, and doom-laden groove.
»Original Sin« explores the idea that humanity was never inherently broken, challenging the long-standing narratives of guilt and inherited flaw. Through crushing guitars, driving rhythm, and haunting melody, the track delivers a defiant meditation on identity, belief, and the stories we’ve been told about ourselves.
The single offers another glimpse into the evolving sonic landscape Sixyearhex is building as they move toward their upcoming full-length album.
»Original Sin« will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and all other streaming platforms March 10, 2026.
