Emerging from Follo, Norway, Korean Cars craft a sound that exists at the crossroads of melancholic post-rock and noisy post-hardcore, effortlessly balancing atmospheric depth with raw intensity. Their music thrives in a dynamic, textured landscape, where melody collides with distortion, and introspection ignites into explosive crescendos.

Drawing influence from the alternative and post-hardcore scenes of the ’90s and 2000s, Korean Cars weave atmospheric tension, unpredictable vocal bursts, and a rich arsenal of stompbox-driven guitar work into a sound that is at once melancholic, chaotic, cinematic, and immersive – always shifting, always in motion.

Formed from the spare parts of Rumble In Rhodos, Infidels Forever, Arms On Fire, and Insense, the band brings together seasoned musicians with a shared passion for dynamic, emotionally charged songwriting.
